I am going to the IFB conference and have made my reservation at the Jane Hotel where I have a single bed and a shared bath. Wow! Doesn't that sound like fun? Supposed to be a very good hotel....
I will have to channel my college days when an arrangement like that was commonplace...
But I am excited about going to the conference and bringing back lots of up to the moment info and sharing it with all of you.

Well, Lyst created a collection based on one pair of Cesare Paciotti shoes that I used.
It's set in the framework of a nursery rhyme that evidently no one is familiar with anymore. What a shame... Don't parents read them to their children these days? Or do they just hand the baby a Smartphone and say, "play with this..."

Well, the heat finally broke in Virginia and we have had some beautiful days. What a relief...
As you can see I am making some changes to my blog, trying to consolidate the sites where I post. Some of it is easy to do, other parts require IT that challenges me.
I am going to New York in September. The Independent Fashion Bloggers conference is there on the 4th and 5th. Looking forward to it and as it will be my second conference, feeling more confident.
So China bus here I come, Priceline hotel room here I come... oh yes, I go the cheapest way possible.
I hope to learn more about the blogging business and do some networking and come back full of new ideas and fall fashion trends.
