by donating this dress
at the Ibiza Lounge at 1409 E. Cary St., RVA
on February 27!
The dresses are given to young ladies who want
to attend their prom, but don't have a dress to wear.

another year passed,
who knew i'd be writing poetry,
thanks to a college boyfriend,
who really wasn't a boyfriend.
he kissed me once and
gave up without a word,
cut me out, cut me up,
a cowardly boy,
who mistook hesitance for rejection.
the angst reached its expiration,
i thank him for the inspiration,
a much belated gift
for an opportunity missed.
