the lion sleeps tonight...

The inspiration for this tribal set started with the horn bracelet by Erickson Beamon.  The gold tone gleams, and it has many colored, interesting charms.  It is definitely a statement piece.

Next I chose the bright jeans with the multiple zippers, which separates them from the others.  The bustier reflects the tribal look of the bracelet.  The jacket is from the J. Crew Collection and it is a beauty. Stripes, roll-up sleeves, fraying - out of the box for J. Crew.

The green wedges are rich in color and well styled.  The printed cloth bag has a circular pattern, a variety of colors and shells.  And of course, one needs a cool pair of sunnies to block those UVA/UVB rays and to give you a look of mystery.  And these are from the 1960 collection of House of Harlow, "cat" eyes.  How appropriate for the jungle...

And the background is actually a section of a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta dress.
