Ladies, today is the day for Karl Lagerfeld at Macy's Impulse Collection. So check it out, there are several different looks, something for everyone. I ordered the scarf and a black/white chevron blouse (sight unseen). I am hoping that they live up to Karl's rep.
I planned to just go by one of several Macy's stores in my area, but checked and these two items are not available in store. So check the website before heading out. You may have to order as I did, based on the website pics.
I could not find those great looking stockings and edgy gloves anywhere on the site. Does anyone know if they are part of the Collection?

Hey, everyone, I survived the hurricane. Lost power for a while, but lost comcast connection for about 72 hours - no internet, no landline, no tv. Didn't realize how attached I have become to these technologies. But all is good, back on line.
Gave me some time to look through those huge September mags and the new Anthropologie catalogue, which is filled with beautiful things.
I wish I had the talent to create them, but I do have the talent to recognize them when I see them!
We will be having a Fashion Show at Anthropologie on September 9 and I am doing some of the outfitting. I am excited and anxious to get started. The store has been closed for a few days as no power at the Mall, but hopefully, it will be up and running by tomorrow.
I'll be working on some more fall fashion tips for you. Ciao, belllas!

Hurricane Irene
Is everyone hunkered down for the big storm? I am riding it out solo as my husband is out of town. So far a lot of rain and some wind, but nothing major.
Using my time productively to check what's going on in the fashion world. Doing some reading and lounging about.
